Palo Alto Networks Appoints Mark Anderson as Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Field Operations
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Palo Alto Networks today announced that it has appointed Mark Anderson as its first head of worldwide field operations, a new organization in the company that encompasses sales and customer support and services, effective June 5. In addition, the company has created a new organization to address its strategy for fast growing emerging markets that will be headed by Larry Link, currently vice-president of sales, who will assume the new role of senior vice-president of emerging markets strategy, effective June 5.

Mark joins Palo Alto Networks from F5 Networks. He joined F5 Networks in 2004, has overseen all sales activities since 2007, and was instrumental in scaling the organization to well over $1B in sales and servicing its customers. During his career, he has also held leadership positions at Lucent Technologies and Cisco Systems.
