New VP of Sales Brings over 22 Years’ Experience as Sales Executive and Senior Manager expressor software, the leading provider of free and affordable, enterprise-class data integration software, today announced that Alan DiPietro has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Alan brings extensive sales and ecommerce experience in high-growth, free-to-paid and SaaS software sales environments to expressor software. He will be responsible for growing and leading expressor’s sales team and operations.

Mr. DiPietro will report to Bob Potter, expressor software’s co-founder and CEO.

"Alan is a proven executive sales leader with an impressive professional background in free-to-paid and SaaS sales environments," said Bob Potter. "His experience in managing high-transaction volume, closed loop sales operations will be a tremendous asset to expressor as we pursue our vision of making ETL available for everyone through free and affordable, enterprise-class data integration software."

Mr. DiPietro has more than 22 years of experience in software sales. Previously he was Vice President of Ecommerce Sales at LogMeIn (Nasdaq: LOGM), a leading provider of SaaS connectivity and support solutions. Alan spent more than six years with the company and was responsible for transacting the first sales through beta and launch. He also built out LogMeIn’s sales organization as VP of Sales with annual bookings growth from zero to 85 Million dollars.

Prior to LogMeIn, Alan was VP of Sales at FireStar Software, Inc., a venture backed start-up in the Object Oriented DB enterprise market. He also held senior positions as director in the mergers and acquisitions group of Interliant (INIT) (formerly Sage Networks) and director of sales and marketing at net.Genesis. He began his career with Western Union Easylink after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Alfred University.

"I believe expressor is in a great place right now to be able to offer affordable, enterprise-class ETL software that is 80 percent-plus less expensive than mainstream solutions from traditional data integration vendors,” commented Mr. DiPietro. "I am excited to join an outstanding management team and look forward to help expressor realize its tremendous market potential with its differentiated, free-to-paid business strategy."
