New VP of Sales brings over 20 years’ experience in selling enterprise software solutions in fast growing startup environments.

Burlington, MA (PRWEB) July 07, 2011

expressor software, the leading provider of free and affordable data integration software, today announced that Dave Mohr has joined the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Dave is an experienced sales leader with deep knowledge of the software industry and enterprise software solutions, having spent the past 15 years in the Business Intelligence (BI) & Performance Management enterprise software industry. He brings a wealth of experience with free-to-paid and open-source business models, along with the ability to scale sales teams from early startup stages to organizations with double-digit annual sales revenues. He will be responsible for growing and leading expressor’s sales team and operations.

Mr. Mohr will report to Bob Potter, expressor software’s co-founder and CEO.

"Dave is a results-driven sales leader with a consistent track record of revenue and customer growth achievements," said Bob Potter. "expressor is at the verge of accelerated revenue growth as we complete major development and rollout milestones of our game-changing version 3 data integration platform during the second half of 2011. I have great confidence in Dave's ability to rapidly grow our business and take full advantage of our unique competitive market differentiation vis a vis traditional and open-source ETL and data integration players."

Dave has more than 20 years of experience in software sales. Previously he was Director of Direct Sales at Pentaho, a leading open-source BI vendor where he grew and managed a team of sales representatives throughout North America. Prior to Pentaho, he held senior sales leadership roles at Board USA, Business Objects, Cognos Corporation, and Brio Software.

"I am very excited about the opportunity to lead the growth of expressor's end-user and channel business segments. The company's innovative data integration platform is establishing itself as the leading alternative to complicated and expensive tools from legacy vendors,” commented Mr. Mohr. "With fewer developer-level resources available for projects, the business analysts in small and medium businesses (SMB) are demanding lower cost and more intuitive ETL tools so that they can rapidly build their own solutions with less dependency on other organizations. Traditional ETL and open-source ETL tools still use manually-intensive, traditional data mapping techniques that are complicated and time-consuming to develop. expressor is in a unique position to address these deficiencies by offering easy-to-use, free, and affordable ETL software that is attractive to both the traditional ETL user, as well as to the business analyst user."

expressor will be hosting a live webinar about the features included in the latest release, 3.3, on Wednesday, July 13th at 2 pm ET. For more information on expressor’s leadership team, visit http://www.expressor-software.com/about-us-leadership.htm.
