Mary Bevelock

Chief Financial Officer

Mary is CFO and has been part of the investment team of Globespan Capital Partners since the firm's inception. As Chief Financial Officer, Mary manages all finance and administration functions of the firm, including financial reporting, human resources, facilities, and investor relations. Based in Boston, she brings financial management expertise from her work with venture-backed and newly public technology companies.

Prior to Globespan, Mary was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at JAFCO Ventures. Mary served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Pretzel Logic Software, a venture-backed software company. There, she negotiated and coordinated approximately $15 million in debt and private equity financing.

Before joining JAFCO Ventures, Mary was the Managing Director in the Boston office of cyberCFO. She managed daily operations, client service delivery and business development in the Boston area. Mary believes that working as a team "where people share ideas and learn from each other" -- is vital to success.

Earlier, Mary was Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Entrepreneurial Services Center, where she advised venture-backed and newly public companies on navigating the financial and operational challenges of growth. She managed the firm's relationship with a number of technology-based companies.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Boston College and is a CPA. She is a member of the Steering Committee of Boston's Women in Alternative Assets and of the Council for Women of Boston College. Mary lives in Dover, MA with her husband and enjoys traveling, cooking and reading.
